Hello Entrepreneur! Sometimes, as business owners, sometimes we forget about ourselves as we get caught up in the hustle and bustle life throws our way. Make it a point in 2023 to implement some self-care in your everyday routine. Here are some ways to give yourself some love this year.
Develop & Maintain a Morning Routine
Your morning sets the tone for the rest of the day, so you choose how productive and how good you feel throughout the day. Try starting your day with a skincare routine, making your bed, journaling, reading, meditation, get your body moving (even if that's a few minutes of stretching), hydrate before even thinking about grabbing a cup of coffee, and eating a nourishing breakfast. Having a morning routine that is well=balanced to tend to the mind, body, and soul will have you ready to tackle your day.
Practice Gratitude
As an entrepreneur you are bound to feel some type of imposter syndrome from time to time…unfortunately. Maybe you don’t feel like you are doing as much as others in your industry or aren’t as good at what you do. This is why a daily gratitude practice is essentially to your wellbeing. While you're taking some time to journal as the sun is rising, write down your intentions for the day and note some things you are grateful for. Having more focus on what we have rather than what we lack can greatly change your mindset. Mindset is everything.
Explore the Power of Breathing
Typically when we get stressed, the first thing we lose is our breath. Jump on YouTube and start practicing some ways to slow your breath to heal your inner stressors. As an anxious girly who would rather stay away from pharmaceuticals when she can, breathwork is my bestie and I’d recommend it to anyone!
Set Boundaries
Yes I know, boundaries…Boundaries can feel hard to set but they are needed for both you and the people in your life. Set boundaries with yourself not to overbook and overwork yourself by setting a log off time when you are officially done with your work for the day. Set boundaries with your clients/customers no matter how hard it can feel - you can do it!
You hold the power to be the best you, you can be.
